INVERSION EXTRANJERA

La inversión extrajera directa es la que realizan personas físicas y morales extranjeras para el establecimiento, mantenimiento o desarrollo de toda clase de actividades económicas. La inversión extrajera indirecta es aquella efectuada, generalmente, a través de préstamos entre gobiernos o de organismos internacionales a gobiernos o empresas públicas, o bien mediante la colocación de valores bursátiles oficiales del país receptor del crédito en las bolsas de valores de la nación que concede el mismo. Sirve para contribuir al desarrollo nacional.

Actos jurídicos que los extranjeros están autorizados para realizar independientemente de su calidad y característica migratoria.

1. Adquirir, fuera de la zona restringida, bienes inmuebles urbanos, rústicos y derechos reales sobre los mismos. En la zona restringida el extranjero no puede adquirir el dominio directo de bienes inmuebles, pero si los derechos a través de fideicomiso sin constituir derechos reales.

2.  Adquirir títulos y valores de renta variable.

3.  Adquirir acciones o partes sociales de sociedades mercantiles o civiles.

4.  Adquirir activos de sociedades para realizar actividades empresariales.

FOREIGN INVESTMENT

Foreign direct investment is that made by foreign individuals and corporations for the establishment, maintenance or development of all kinds of economic activities. Indirect foreign investment is that made, generally, through loans between governments or international organizations to governments or public companies, or through the placement of official securities of the country receiving the credit in the stock exchanges of the nation that grants the same. It serves to contribute to national development.

Legal acts that foreigners are authorized to perform regardless of their quality and migratory characteristics.

1. Acquire, outside the restricted area, urban real estate, land and real rights over them. In the restricted zone the foreigner can not acquire the direct domain of real estate, but the rights through a trust without constituting real rights.

2. Acquire equity securities and securities.

3. Acquire shares or social shares of mercantile or civil companies.

4. Acquire assets of companies to carry out business activities.
